Yacine Tilala Fall (b.1997, Washington D.C.) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores transformation, lineage, and animism through sculpture, performance, and installation. Fall earned her MFA in Sculpture from Yale School of Art and received the Dedalus MFA Fellowship in Painting & Sculpture and was named a finalist for the Norval Sovereign African Art Prize. Through the use of clay, metal, animal byproducts, and fiber, her works assemble vessels, sites, and systems moving between ritual object, archive, and symbol, tracing relationships between the corporeal body and the unknown.
